CiTy said: "what happened was he was with the Broncos. The Broncos had like 5 or 6 running backs when most teams have 3 or 4 so obviously they had to let somebody go. Clarett was 5th on the depth chart and then he got injured, i think it was a strained leg muscle or something which didn't help his cause so they released him. I guarantee Clarett is going to get back in shape and make it on a team if not by this year, definitely next year. The Broncos coaches said he was better than they thought but they had already had their running backs so they had no choice. About him getting drunk, i wouldn't believe that cuz nobody sane would do that when they trying to make an NFL team especially how hard Clarett worked to get there. Only a vet would get drunk during training camp."
