The collyer brothers and their team have made all the champ manager games before the last one, they were offered a paltry amount of money so said fuck off and Sega agreed to produce their management game.
Since Eidos still own the rights to the name Champ manager they produced a management game which has no link to the previous champ man games apart from the name in the hope that clueless idiots would buy it hoping it is just the new champ (i.e. like Beefy - people like u ruin the gaming industry!)
The collyer brothers used their coding and database from the champ series to make the next incarnation and called it football manager 2005 (06 is out now). This is the true sequel to the excellent champ series!
