Tremor vs Buck----HHW's 1st Ever Review Battle!!

-Sniper- said: "Damn bought were good reviews, bought wrote a few sentences about what each track was about, and was pretty much equal. I guess imma give it to buck tho. Just becuase he put a pic of the album on his reivew"

-Sniper- said: "
Aight 1-0 Buck Notice The Download Too :D
lol..didnt even see that..."

Jaybsty said: "I like this idea, truss there gonna be some good reviews if it's a battle. Good shit!"

Jaybsty said: "Introduction = (Both did a good job here, both had a good synopsis of the artist & the album) Content = (Well Buck discussed beats on the songs which was something trem didn’t do much & Trem went more in depth with the lyrics from each song, so Tie Again!) Body - Tremor (Just enjoyed the approach of showing the main part or the most important lyrics of each song more & it was a bit more descriptive) Conclusion - Buck (Closed his out really well, with good points about how Cubey can hold his own on solo projects) knowledge = (Both seemed to know the albums well) Vocab = (Nobodies really stood out as having better vocab) Enjoyment – Tremor (He was just a bit more funny & well cynical I guess at times which made it more interesting. I guess Buck took the more serious side) Overall – Tremor (It was pretty equal but Tremors was a little more enjoyable, good reviews by both!)"

Tremor said: "still bumpin for more ppls thoughts and votes!!???!!! DO IT NOW!! CHEERS"

Tremor said: "Thats right HHW....2 vets are so damn bored were doing a review battle! Tremor-Eminem-The Slim Shady LP Vs Buck-Ice Cube-Death Certificate This battle is not an attack on eachother, but rather just on the reviews themselves obviously.... Catagories which must be judged are Introduction- Content- Body- Conclusion- things to also be considered are knowledge, vocab, enjoyment. Hopefully this will get some views, some votes, and give you all some knowledge on 2 classic albums! cheers"

Tremor said: "Eminem-The Slim Shady LP The Cd that started it all! The controversy that is Eminem. The things that spawned off this one CD will affect hip-hop for generations to come! Think about it, all of Em’s CD’s, 50’s Get Rich or Die Trying, Obie Trice, and the list will go on. If it wasn’t for this CD, who knows what hip hop would be like today. From the first note…. “Hi my name is…” Eminem engraved his name in Hip-Hop history! MY NAME IS Em got our attention alright with his first single. This is the first time I had ever heard of this Detroit native. Although this song was gimmick more than anything (which forshadowed quite a bit of Em’s career), it opened the door to the mainstream for him. And throughout his whole career, his controversial lyrics were always riddled through his verses, served to us with his humour and wit. GUILTY CONSCIENCE Em and Dre spit verse for verse as the good and bad consience of different characters in different situations. Eddie, the 23 year old robbing a liqour store, and is talked out of doing it by Dre, Stan the 21 year old male whos getting “hot and heavy” with an underage girl, who Em talks into “hitting it raw dog and bail”, and Brady the 29 yr old construction worker who finds his wife in bed with another man. Personally, the Brady consience was the best verse, as I think this is the one that Em could relate to the most (Kim?!?!?!). In the end….even Dre agrees with Em! Eminem-Fuck that shit, you just caught this bitch cheatin While you at work she's with some dude tryin to get off?! FUCK slittin her throat, CUT THIS BITCH'S HEAD OFF!!! Dr. Dre-Wait! What if there's an explanation for this shit? (What? She tripped? Fell? Landed on his dick?!) Alright Shady, maybe he's right Grady But think about the baby before you get all crazy Eminem-Okay! Thought about it, still wanna stab her? Grab her by the throat, get your daughter and kidnap her? That's what I did, be smart, don't be a retard You gonna take advice from somebody who slapped DEE BARNES??! Dr. Dre-What'chu say? (What's wrong? Didn't think I'd remember?) I'ma kill you motherfucker! Eminem-Uhhh-aahh! Temper temper! Mr. Dre? Mr. N.W.A.? Mr. AK comin' straight outta Compton y'all better make way? How in the fuck you gonna tell this man not to be violent? Dr. Dre-Cause he don't need to go the same route that I went Been there, done that.. aw fuck it... What am I sayin? Shoot em both Grady, where's your gun at? Brain Damage Em tries to work through some problems, but apparently everyone just thought he was on drugs. From bullies, teachers, his own mother. Em airs out some problems, and through it all, he takes the Nixon approach, “Deny Deny Deny!” He never did drugs that caused him to act fucked up…its Brain Damage! If I Had One of the deeper tracks on this CD where Em almost does a “floetry” type verse…he’s not really rapping, but he’s not talking either. Disussing things he has, things he wants, and things he wishes were different! Even through it all, Em still keeps the controversy! Disses his family, talks about his life just growing up! This is just a track that you wont hear unless you get the CD, and that’s really unfortunate! 97 Bonnie and Clyde The first of many songs we heard to his beloved daughter Halie. He airs out Kim about there relationship, and seems to be trying to explain why and what is going on in their relationship. Not his best work lyrically, and somewhat annoying, as he raps like hes talking to a baby, with a baby voice like you might see someone talk with to a new-born. One of the weaker tracks on the album. Role Model Probably one of my favourite Em tracks of all time! Some of his lyrical skill is displayed while keeping humour, punches, wordplay, well damn, listen to the song! This was also played on radio with edited versions, which really takes away from the whole ideal of the song! Some people only see that I'm white, ignorin skill Cause I stand out like a green hat with a orange bill But I don't get pissed, y'all don't even see through the mist How the fuck can I be white, I don't even exist ^^^plays the race card early in his career as he had experienced it throughout his life! But the whole song and its lyrics…are…well DAMN! My Fault Em starts to discuss his faults with drugs, drinking and women! A humerous track in the form of a story where he gives a heroin junkie turned clean some ‘shrooms. As the story proceeds, she eats the whole bag, and leads into a dive where death is the only possibility and its all Em’s fault. Lyrically this is still a strong verse, while never losing the story. Cum on Everybody This is his Dance song!! The song starts of very weak, dead, head, bleed, but lyrically gets stronger! This song really has no meaning, but is tight due to its content where he discusses drugs, his music, drugs, STD’s. Got bitches on my jock out in East Detroit Cause they think that I'm a motherfuckin Beastie Boy {*wolf whistle*} So I told em I was Mike D They was like, "Gee I don't know, he might be!" I told em, "Meet me at Kid Rock's next concert I'll be standin by the Loch Ness Monster (okay) peace out (bye!!)" Then I jetted to the weed house Smoked out til I started bustin freestyles Rock Bottom “Its dedicated to the happy ppl with real nice lives”. Em discusses his life and how he feels. Through poor times where he’s riddled with drugs, where he cant do right for himself or his family. Yet another song that unless you buy the cd, you will never hear, and that’s a great injustice! My life is full of empty promises And broken dreams I'm hoping things will look up But there ain't no job openings I feel discouraged hungry and malnourished Living in this house with no furnace, unfurnished Just Don’t Give a Fuck Lyrically fine! Once again the theme is drugs, women, ass kicking, alcohol, his miserable life! But its lyrically fine! Verse 1-you wacker than the motherfucker you bit your style from you aint gon sell two copies if you press a double album Verse-2-this is lyrical combat gentlemen hold your pistols but i form like Voltron and blast you wit my sonar missles Verse-3-I'm convinced i'ma fiend shootin up while this record is spinnin clinically brain dead i dont need a second opinion As the World Turns Once again, Em displays his lyrical skill. Takes a shot at The Source, discusses his messed up childhood, the usual from Em. But throughout the whole verse, he has his usual humour that just makes you want to listen to what he is gonna say next. The second verse is a story of his encounter with a women who he had encountered. Verse2-She said "Come her big boy, lets get acquainted" I turned around to run, twisted my ankle and sprained it She came at me at full speed, nothin could stop her I shot her five times and every bullet bounced off her I started to beg "No, please let go" But she swallowed my fuckin leg whole like an egg roll With one leg left, now I'm hoppin around crippled I grabbed my pocket knife and sliced off her right nipple Just trying to buy me some time, then I remembered this magic trick Den Den Den Den Den Den, Go go gadget dick! Whipped that shit out, and aint no doubt about it It hit the ground and caused an earthquake and power outage I shouted "Now bitch, lets see who gets the best!" Stuffed that shit in crooked and fucked that fat slut to death Im Shady If ya didn’t hear it on the first track! Its Shady!!!! This almost is like his “I’m Rick James bitch!” He discusses his drug use once again! And you think you would get tired of hearing about his life, but his lyrics just keep you listening through the whole CD! Em discusses some of the problems which are inflicting his life, but in a humorous way that I think only he can pull off. Verse3- Well, I do take pills, don't do speed Don't do crack (uh-uhh) don't do coke, I do smoke weed (uh-huh) Don't do smack, I do do shrooms, do drink beer (yup) I just wanna make a few things clear My baby mama's not dead (uh-uhh) she's still alive and bitchin (yup) And I don't have herpes, my dick's just itchin It's not syphilis, and as for being AIDS infested I don't know yet, I'm too scared to get tested Bad Meets Evil Em and fellow Detroit native Royce da 5’9 swap verses about how bad met evil in an old saloon. This is the strongest song lyrically on the whole CD! Em and Royce swap verses that just go from hot to hotter! I don’t know how I can post lyrics to it without leaving something out! IM DEAD FUCKIN SERIOUS! IF YOU HAVENT HEARD THIS SONG! GO SLIT YOUR THROAT! (no lyrics will be posted for this song!) Still Don’t Give a Fuck He didn’t give a fuck earlier on the CD, so why should he now? This song just closes off any thought that he has delivered on this CD. From drugs, women, drugs, his life, drugs. Lyrically just as strong as anything on the album. Verse1-I'll stab you with the sharpest knife I can grab Come back the next week and re-open your scab (YEAH!) Verse2-I get imaginative with a mouth full of adjectives, a brain full of adverbs, and a box full of laxatives Verse3-I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it Spend a million a track and went over my budget (Ohh shit!) Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt? I can't rap anymore - I just murdered the alphabet Eminem introduced us to himself with a thunderous CD. Something that will never get old, and you can listen to from start to finish! Lyrically at his best on this CD, Em leads us through his life with humour, wordplay…well just plain and simply put lyrics that you could listen to over and over because its just that tight! HE’S SHADY!!! And don’t forget that! CHEERS"

The Album Takes A Journey Through Life And Death, With Tracks 1-11 Being The Death Side And 12-21 The Light Side. Strangely The Album Begins With Death Perhaps Indicating That Cube Himself Will Eventually As The Album Goes On Become Musically Alive After His NWA Days. 1. The Funeral-Simply A Funeral Ceremony Nothing Much Else To Say But It Is Much More Pleasing To Hear A Creative Intro Rather Then 13 Seconds Of Bullshit. 2. Fave Line:- "Kick His Ass Till Im Smelling Shit" 3.My Summer Vacation-True True Classic The Swithes In Tempo Of The Beat Adds To The Overall Lyrical Prowess, There Is A Sample In The Beat That Has Been Used In Variations Throughout Hip Hop Culture Including The Intro To Menace II Society. Some Minty Samples Especially One From Dj Quick And Slick Rick. 8.A Bird In The Hand-Fave Beat On The Album, Kind Of A Tweetin In The Background But Remains Gritty, "Gotta Serve You Food That Might Give You Cancer, Cus My Son Don't Take No For An Answer", The Song Is About How He Had To Sell Drugs Saying How Workin For The Man Is Not Makin Him Money But Dealing Is. Extremely Political For Example "A Bird In The Hand Is Worth More Than A Bush", Slamming His Policies As Not Working For The Black American. "Cus African Americans Are Too Fuckin Poor To Be Republicans." 21.Bonus Track, How To Survive South Central-Beat Is Kinda Choppy But Is Fittin To The Album Somewhat. A Thugish Bounce To The Beat, It Appeared On The Boyz In Da Hood SoundTrack. Basically He Expresses What Not To Do And Were Not To Go, Especially Them Ho's And Not Wear Red Or Blue Lol. Conlusion:- A Must Have 5 Stars 5 Bucks W/e Its Tight 5/5, If This Is Not In Your Collection Get It NOW! Download It Cus Your Missing Out Greatly.
