[I]ATLANTA (AP) -- Michael Vick reluctantly surrendered a water bottle to security at Miami International Airport that contained a residue "closely associated with marijuana," but no charges were immediately filed, police said Thursday.
The 26-year-old Atlanta Falcons' quarterback entered an airport concourse Wednesday morning with the 20-ounce bottle. He eventually handed it over and boarded his flight to Atlanta. But his initial reluctance to turn over the bottle aroused suspicion among airport security screeners, a police report said.
Two Transportation Security Administration screeners recognized the 6-foot, 215-pound Vick as the Falcons quarterback.
The bottle was found to have a hidden compartment that contained "a small amount of dark particulate and a pungent aroma closely associated with marijuana," the report said. The compartment was hidden by the bottle's label so that it appeared to be a full bottle of water when held upright, police said.
Police said the bottle has been sent to the Miami-Dade County crime lab for analysis. It could be weeks before any decision is made on whether to file charges, said police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta.
"We'll do an analysis and see what it is. There's no sense of urgency to it," he said Thursday.
Vick did not immediately return a phone call early Thursday.
"We plan to look into the matter and discuss it with Michael Vick before having any further comment," Falcons spokesman Reggie Roberts said.[/I]

you misunderstood what i said.......Yes pocket presences is a must but you must be able toelude defenders and make plays when needed like most of the young qbs coming up from college...thats why teams are picking up these shifty qb because they have more then one weapon
so your saying a pocket qb is better then a running/pocket qb lke the dude from florida and liek the dude from LSU (some one who can do both) cuz thats what I was saying Ill give it 10-15 years then all qbs will be running/pocket qbs unlike brady and manning but dont get me wrong peyton is one of my fav players cuz like you said he can rip apart a defense with audibles and shit now mix a little a vick in him then you got MY IDEAL QB"

And you can't blame Vick for everything that's going wrong on the Falcons.. I seen his recievers drop so wide open passes. Just because he run alot doesn't mean that the reciever shouldn't be able to catch hell. That's what they in the league for."
