They don't care about you." So what? I make sure what I want is in my contract and im getting it. I already got myself a 70k GI bill after my terms over. So all i'd have to do in order to collect is enroll in a participating college and take 1 class per semester :D art or something :D
They use me, I'll use them. And im guaranteed an interview for a job with the NYPD. What else... i get 2k per recruit... 5k right now... gonna increase once i pass all my classes this semester. And im going in 3 ranks away from a sergeant.
Incase you guys havent been watching the news, americas going thru a recession. Meaning, the price of living is increasing, and if it continues, the people in college now wont have decent jobs once they get out. Why pick newly graduate Jason when old head Joe Schmoe's been with us for X amount of years and we dont have to worry abotu training him?
